You will have the opportunity to discuss and exchange information with other GEW and works council members from international and bilingual private schools across Germany. There will be a visit by a member of the GEW state branch in Berlin. We would also like to exchange experiences and promote mutual networking in a relaxed, solidarity-filled atmosphere.
Reminder there is a registration cap and that only GEW members can attend.

Training for works council members is a legal right in Germany.
Train fares or car costs*, meals including Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast, accommodations and childcare will all be covered**.
*Trains are to be self-booked and will be reimbursed later. If you are unable to pay the train fare upfront, please write here:

Car costs will be covered 30 cents per km for the first 100 km and 15 cents per km thereafter.

Below is a brief outline of the weekend, with agenda details to come:
- Friday: from 19:00 Dinner and discussion, no conference sessions
- Saturday: 9-17:30 Conference sessions with breaks and lunch, from 18:30 Dinner
- Sunday: 9-12:30 Conference sessions with breaks, from 12:30 Lunch (optional)
